2018 Color of The Year

Pantone's pick is...Ultra Violet! Wow, I didn't see this one coming! Did you? What are YOUR thoughts on using this color in YOUR home? Any takers?

According to Pantone, "A dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade, PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet communicates originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking that points us towards the future".

Now here is a simpler way you might want to have just a 'splash' of this color around...how about a bright and cheerful front door this year?

Or, perhaps just a few accessories in this color if you prefer a more neutral and tranquil background of design...like this stunning Kravet quartz crystal lamp...with a few custom throw pillows in the room as well.

I LOVE this wallpaper by Cole & Sons used recently on a master bath project...simply stunning with this hint of Ultra Violet in it...and who knew it would become this year's color of the year!

Now for MY top pick in just how "I" would personally sport this color in "my" home...do you want to see? Here it is...just MY taste and color palette choice! I'm a turquoise and pink kinda girl, no doubt! Keep in mind, I am, after-all, a true 'southern' girl! Can you see that this even has a 'pop' of Ultra Violet added in? I could go for this!
